This is the beach house that we stayed at in June 2008. It was magical. We were looking forward to many summers here. Hurrican Ike didn't agree. You can see what little is left.
It seems I don't get to see my family as often as I would like these days. I am so busy.... between church and work, who has time to clean house, do laundry or see family?
Chance and Lindsay... so close, yet so far away. I miss you guys!
Why is Colorado so far away? I miss you Lauren, Jerrod, Breleigh and baby Ace. I can't wait to see you again.
I enjoy hanging out with you guys. Seems like we don't do it enough.
Thanks for coming to all of the importants stuff. I wish we had more time for just hanging out together.
Erik, Jenn, and newly adopted Issac and Hadleigh, we look forward to seeing you in a few weeks!
I am missing my Christi! My secretary, and trusted friend, took a new job opportunity in Shreveport. I made it through the first week without her. While I have a new secreatry, Stephanie, that is a wonderful person, I miss Christi! God is going to do great things in her life in Shreveport, I know it! I am so excited to watch the story unfold. Know you are loved!
Jayden is growing so fast. I cannot believe he is the same little boy that we adopted five and a half years ago. He is a true blessing. I know God has incredible things for his life.
I took them to get braces put on and then to the zoo. I don't think they were too happy about the braces part, but they sure look cute. I took my new camera with us and turned the animal watching into a photo shoot. The textures and lighting were too good to waste.
We have little bites all over from rolling around in the sunflowers. I guess it was worth it. These photos make me really happy. Aren't they beautiful?
I know I have not signed in to blog for a while. I guess I was not inspired. I have a new camera now that is so awesome. I took the girls out, trampling through a field of sunflowers to take pictures while I practice my skills. The results take my breath away. My babies are growing up too fast.
